the last time I got lost in …:
The European Parliament building. It was fine when we walked in went through security to go upstairs. I attended several discussions, but when I tried to get out I really struggled. I went to the wrong floors, lost all orientation, and got confused by several signage systems. I had to ask a security person for help.
my favourite pictogram/sign is:
In Vienna:
A carefully designed sign, global but sometimes unsuitable. Was the second pictogram really an improvement of the first. What happened here?

I’m still fond of typographic rigidness: dense black on crisp white.

The printing room in the Plantin Moretus Museum in Antwerp. Information was printed on wooden presses from the 1450s to 1870s.The tools we used to build websites twenty years ago cannot be found anymore …
